We will ride the skyver down the first 300 metres along a paved road, to let you get used to standing up and moving around. Even if you are used to riding a mountain bike, a skyver is different because the bike is very light. Then, we will fold up the skyver into special backpacks and trek up over fields and through forests, while we relish the sight of Zell am See to the north and the tall peaks to the south. After a couple of hours’ hike, we will reach the top of Maiskogel, at an altitude of 1,600 metres. Here we will take a well-deserved break.

Afterwards, we will once again assemble the skyver, and then our trip takes us down at a completely different tempo than on the way up. We start on a gravel path and later ride down single tracks with lots of u-turns, roots and smaller rocks. When we arrive in the valley again, we will be picked up and driven back to Alpenhaus Kesselfall.
