You will raft down the Salzach river, adrenaline pumping through your veins, water in your hair and surrounded by the most beautiful nature. This is most likely going to be your most amazing holiday experience. Perhaps in your whole life.

The entire family can join, and you will learn to cooperate in a completely new way as you move downstream together – and perhaps facing an obstacle or two along the way. The river is like a water roller coaster, so expect it to get wild. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to jump in the river and float downstream, in case you did not get enough water sitting in the boat.

We continue on an even wilder adventure as we face even more challenging waterfalls, before the river calms once again and we drift towards our meeting place.

Practical information:

Between 09:00-14:00 

(including 3 hours of transport)

Everyone meets at Alpenhaus Kesselfall, and we drive out together to the rafting camp, where you will be handed your equipment before driving all the way down to the river.

Here, you will receive some safety instructions and learn how to paddle before we being the actual rafting.

Difficulty level: Easy to medium

You can participate if you:

• can swim
• are at least 8 years old

We make sure:

• that you receive top notch safety equipment
• transport to the location
• photos and video clips so that you can remember this exciting experience
• trained guides with no more than 8 participants each
• a small snack
• water

You must bring:

• a bathing suit
• towel
