Good food before and after your mountain trip
When you return from the mountain, the a-la- carte restaurant offers classic Austrian cuisine with current trends. It is also possible to get a burger, club sandwich and other café courses. As much as possible, we strive to get local produce to ensure the quality of the food we serve. We also serve delicious ice cream, cakes, crepes and Kaiserschmarrn, all made by our own chef.
In the summer, you can enjoy a cold beer or soft drink on the terrace, while resting your legs and enjoying the landscape – from the comfort of a nice chair. From here, you can listen to the waterfall while chatting about the day’s experiences – or you can plan new ones.
In the indoor restaurant, the raw stone walls and rustic décor tell the story of the house, dating back to 1882 when emperor Franz Joseph used it for hunting and as a mountain cabin.

The kitchen is open between 11:00 and 17:00, where you can choose between various seasonal, local a-la-carte dishes. The kitchen opens again from 19:00 to 21:00 for a 3-course menu with a salad bar.
Before your trip up the mountain, your day will start with a hearty breakfast. The breakfast buffet is open between 07:30 and 10:00, and it is included in the price.
